In 2008 "Neighborhood" was produced as a curtain for another project about urban transformation around Kartal-Umraniye district in Istanbul.
Stitched images were bear details chosen from the living spaces of the neighborhoods where the exhibition is displayed in Istanbul. Curtain and embroidery are traditionally used materials commonplace in Neighborhood that is buried amongst the newly developed areas. The work 'Neighborhood' draws attention to this boundary. As highrise buildings make up the external realm of the districts, the squatter houses represent the interior; the intimate and private parts.The curtain was an interactive installation, completed with the participation of the audience in a collective manner.
From Maslak-Levent district some collected urban transformation images were stitched on the curtain In 2010 for the exhibition "Chaotic Metamorphosis.
